Film 2 - Reaserch

Splitscreen: A Love Story from James W Griffiths on Vimeo.

This is a video of a love story shown in Splitscreen so what is done here is on one side you see it from the guys point of view and then you see it from the girls point of view which is done really well what  you see is pretty much the exact same thing on each side but in different places for example the boiling of the egg which also perfectly catptures the roundness of the shape

or when you see someone walk on one side into the other shot a second person comes out to create an effect of walking through this happens  quite a lot in the video but with cars , bikes , planes and trees. As the video goes on you see that these two people are travelling somewhere then they end up meeting each other after a long hard journey of traveling.

What I really like about this video is how it can tell 2 individual storys which is also one big story
and the way that the split screens are perfectly stuck together another thing that is good about this video is the face that

Film 1 : Local Tour

My Local Tour Video has ended up to be about the village of Alrewas which is where live and  I have created a version of it but I dont really like it much just for the fact None of the shots doesn't look that great and at the time I did not have a tripod so  they are a little bit wobbly so you can see why im not that fond of it so if i have anytime after i finished the other two videos im gonna add some more better shots to add to it.

I do like this shot in the video
What I like about it is the sky  which look pretty great to look at. The sunrise and how it lights up a part of the building and that looks great.

How I edited the video was that I picked the footage that was worth putting onto the video and dragged them onto the timeline cut them down so that would work. Then that was done for this film
